*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

Exercise is dangerous and often deadly.....as my father often says

What happened to you?

SNOW! Of course. Permanent cabin fever induced erratic brain compensation. Should have known that, but I am suffering from permanent heat wave induced erratic brain disorder.

Well, it just occurred to me that I haven't wished the thread happy birthday yet, or rather, a happy anniversary of its creation.

(sung to the tune of the William Tell Overture [Lone Ranger theme song] for anyone who wants to sing along!)

Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary
Happy Anniversary, HAPpy Anniversary!
Happy, happy, happy, happy, happy anniversary
Happy, happy, happy, happy, happy anniversary
Happy anniversary, Happy anniversary
Happy anniversary,
HAAAAPY ANNIVERSARY!

Huh? Sour, are you suggesting that Alaskan is more sane than usual? Less sane than usual? Acting odd in a way that is unusual? Pray, please elaborate. And :bun lady my dear, there is no snow anything at the moment. There is no COLD anything at the moment (unless you mean the sweet breeze caused by the many ceiling fans found in this land of warmness). Alaskan is still in the land of warmth, where rain comes down in torrents, that are warm. :D

Seems like the usual brand of odd to me, too.

Alaskan, be careful about the rain that comes down in torrents. There are random bright streaks that occur in those downpours that are followed by loud noises. And while those streaks are very warm, I've heard they contain enough voltage to light up a city or put you permanently off the grid.

And even though people in the land of warmness often wander around with little on in the way of clothing, going so far as to take a shower in the torrential downpour may cause loud noises too, and not just because you are conserving water.

:bun lady, you have convinced me that Alaskan should streak as fast as possible into these bright streaks of which you speak. They sound warm and very sparkly. Also, though Alaskan in general believes bathing to be dangerous and best if avoided, you suggestion of bathing in the warm torrents sounds exactly right. :D
