So after That One Contracted Fiasco (you know the one) I'm trying again. I have an interview at Starbucks at 10:15 Tuesday morning. I'm feeling hopeful, because the hiring manager is the assistant director for Persuasion.

I had been applying at the other Starbucks in town, and asked her which one she worked at, since I knew she was with them. She said, "Oh, I'm at the one on XYZ street. You should apply there, too, since we're also hiring... and I'm the hiring manager.

" So of course I went home from rehearsal and sent in my application right away like a crazy person.
