*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

I know it is! Stupid cow. I'd have been ok if she would have raised him. I dunno what I'm gonna do. Terry won't let me keep it, he says this is a working farm not a petting zoo. I hate it when he's right.

I've never dealt with cattle - how long before it can drink from a bucket? The more distance you can create with it, the easier it will be.

I'm not sure how often the queen wants to use the no petting card - I seem to remember the recent acquisition of a poodle - not most people's idea of a stock dog, y'know?

Queen - are you as good at training oxen as you are at training horses?

Hey, I trained Gus like you train a dog.

That should work for Beauregard. Beau. For short.
Uh, huh. And we know how that went.

I remember my grandfather telling me about a steer (he called it a cow, but it was a steer) that he had trained to pull a cart. He said he never could train it not to run when startled; it nearly killed my grandmother and uncle (who was an infant at the time) when it spooked and ran into a river, taking the cart in with it.

Not that it has anything to do with anything, but has MFB's insurance policy taken effect yet?
