Here's a story for y'all. I had to go out for a bit yesterday, and tentatively considered leaving the boys with their Father. You all know him as MFB. So, I'm weighing my options, kids getting in the way at doctors office, throwing fits, boredom, the standard stuff, or leaving them with their father and risking "The Great Unknown." All y'all women know what I'm talking about here. You never know what that man is gonna get your offspring into while you're not there to rein in the dumb ideas. Anyway, MFB decided he had this. He didn't need help, these were his boys and he knew what to do yada yada...so I left. Went to the doctor, got the usual Doctor news and came home to...The Great Unknown. It's ever changing, The Great Unknown. One never knows what one may be walking into. Well, on this particular visit to The Great Unknown, I heard the bathtub running because one boy child had somehow gotten his diaper off and smeared poop all over himself and his crib, and the other boy child was running around the kitchen island naked as a jay bird with a hotdog in one hand and cherry pie in the other.
Y'all get three guesses on who cleaned up after all this....
Hotdog and cherry pie ? Sounds good to me. The walls in my older sisters first house were stucco coated. Her first son removed his diaper and 'painted' the room with poop. That smell lingered a long time.
None of my boys did that! One of them had a three week biting stage, but that was the worst stage out of all three boys. I will stand firm that boys are easier (not easy, just easier.)
Lillian has been perfect. Overall, both the girls are fairly easy to manage. Connor has been not at all easy at any stage. Luke wasn't easy even in the womb. Y'all aren't gonna convince me on this one.
I've heard that one, too - boys are hard when little, but get easier, and girls start out easy and get harder. Couldn't tell it by my family, but hey, we've always known that we aren't 'normal'.
