Well, my fellow Kingdomites, my life is about to change. My Dad, whom I have been caring for for some time now, has passed away. I filled out retirement papers yesterday. I am about to be a lady of leisure.

Anyone want to rub my feet?

My great aunt/cousin was thrilled when she was widowed (not the same thing...I know. Losing a parent is always gut wrenching), put up a new sign for her house, R.W. then her last name.

But my great aunt/cousin really disliked her husband.... obviously. She was just too stubborn to leave him.

I think we've got that in all families. People who stay together just
to torture each other.

My wife and I talked about divorce once. We both agreed each one
should get 50%. Half of our stuff is old and broken. That's the half
I thought she she have. She didn't want that half. So we stayed
together.

YES ! on the retirement papers. I do have problems picturing you as 'a lady of leisure'. I heartily recommend retirement for anyone who has something to keep themselves busy.
