13 hours....there is a federal law , they must give you a break after 5 hours.......unless she had a split lunch break......they are breaking labor laws.

I checked with the Labor Dept. after working for a company that did not allow breaks. They told me it was decided by the state and that FL is a "Right to work" state so if I didn't like it, I had the right to quit.

you may be right....know its a law here ,but could be a state labor law.

yep thats a state law....now if she is under 18 they do have to give a break after 4 hours

I can't imagine you being a social misfit. Those girls are probably quite jealous of you. You have the intelligence, a great personality, and a wicked sense on humor.

As women, we tend to be too hard on ourselves. Just look at Ray's Two Cents......we all know she is awesome, she just doesn't know it.

Besides, I love the lesson it is teaching her. She could have gone home but stayed longer because she knew he boss needed the help. This should help prepare her for bootcamp and reinforce her work ethic.
