Rest in Peace 1949-2012

I have a grand daughter who was just faced with that sort of 'reality'. She whined just a little knowing her audience, and I replied, "Well, all the more reason to work with your head rather than your back."
Well, I picked up DD from work. She was begging me to make her a sandwich because she was too tired.
She was asleep 2 minutes after eating it.
My daughter is off to army bootcamp next month so she decided to find a job to help her get into shape. She took a job pushing carts (by hand, no machine there) at a grocery store. She has been pushing carts and loading groceries for customers for the whole 13 hours. They only gave her a 30 minute lunch and no breaks.
Did I mention she has do it again starting tomorrow morning?
13 hours....there is a federal law , they must give you a break after 5 hours.......unless she had a split lunch break......they are breaking labor laws.
