Here is the new tweeked block, it does have a lavender heart, not the plum (orchid) b/c I am going to the store tomorrow, but really like the ribbon much better w/ these tweeks.

Thanks I was tickled w/ myself for how the pattern / block turned out! lol

Looks like I am going to need to order the orchid color also. My local (50 miles ) hobby lobby didn't have it.

We could choose a different color if need be, just remembered that being a good Plum color, im sure there are others though.

I would love to join! But I've never made anything like those ribbons with the different colors! Could I find another pattern that is a bit more simple... and choose the color grey, for brain cancer as one of my best friend's wife is battling it right now?

There r patterns on the 1st post of the ribbon. U don't have to do the color change in the square itself. U can make the ribbon separate and just attach it to the granny square.

My boyfriends daughter is going to the doc with me today. She lives 1 1/2 hours away and is driving down to go 1 1/2 hours the other way with me because I'm having epidural spinal blocks today and won't be able to drive home. Point being, she also searched her city for me and found Dark Orchid!!!! Such a sweet girl! I'm so excited to get it today so I can actually get started finally!!
