Signs of a broody duck....

Yes,I think I have had two. Yes me if the signs I begin to noticed was a small nest in my coop, usually secret and day by day it filled with feathers.,then adventually I would find a sitting duck with eggs.

Pekins don't have a very high rate for sitting. There is really no way to force her go broody but you can encourage her by giving her a safe place to lay and start a nest and by leaving eggs in the coop. Good luck and if she does lay...you have a special ducks cuz pekins don't usually sit.
