It's still attached to the egg with the umbilical cord. Is that normal? Will it dry and fall off?

My Second time assisting someone.....So happy he is out and will be okay.....Really I tried and I'm no expert although was taught by excellent ladies!!!!

It should pull away and will dry up. If it starts dragging the shell around and the cord is real thin, you can clip it. Congrats. Do you have any finger nails left?

Luckily i have gel nails right now so didn't chew them all off! I am certain however.... that this ordeal just took 2 years off of my life!
