On my agenda later today if picking up fundraiser meals.
A girl that my son had prek class with two years ago is heading to Vanderbilt to have a 8inch tumor that is wrapped around her spine removed next week.
She is 7 they say is will be a 20hr surgery
My heart just breaks for them

My niece wants to be one. She is 11 and has always said she wanted to be one from a very young age.
She has watched the local vet do surgeries a few times and loved it

I think we need more in the medical field period.
The biggest problem here is that, just like entertainers, everyone has moved to the US for the $. We're very short of most of the healthcare industry.

That's probably for the best. It weeds out the ones who are just in it for the money. That's why we have so many crap doctors in the US. They go into medicine because of the pay and not because they actually care about helping people.

So how old to let chicks in a cop that is high off the ground with a ramp going into the coop?

My cockerels are a month old but thinking they might be to young still to know to go up the ramp into the coop esp during the night

Also they would be the only two in it unless I move a gentle ee pallet that is 5month old in with them

Here is the young coop as we just keep little ones in it. The only thing that we changed this year to it is we cut a hole at the bottom of the coop and put the ramp going in under the coop. It has a chain link fence around it and wire on top to keep hawks out
