Silence Is Not Golden Here

Beautiful 60 degree day outside.
Wearing a coat and continuing to organize the barn.

Took a close look at the labelled eggs. I got both D'Uccle and jap bantam varieties. :) I am not a fan of the grays so he can keep those.
Haha I am going to keep ALL the D'Uccle pullets and 2 cockerels (1 MF and 1 Porcelain if I can get one) and a trio of mottled Japs.

What wearing a coat!
I would love 60 degrees. It has been a hot summer I am ready for fall weather soon!

When did the kids start school? It's gotta be tough getting back into the swing of things.

My oldest is in 1st he started full time on the 10th
My youngest is in kindergarten and they have been staggering days and getting out at 11 for two weeks.
Both will be going full days on Monday!! One pick up will be nice!

I'm looking forward to it getting down into the mid 50'sF here tonight and tomorrow night. It's been closer to 70F at night here for the last month and I've had the AC on at night for a while. It's just too humid for sleeping at 75-80 degrees (which is what our room temp would be if I opened the windows) inside to be comfortable.
