Silkie and EE cross - tell tale signs

I'm curious if anyone has had what looks to be an EE and silkie mixed pullet. She's 21/22 weeks old. I just can't figure out if she's anywhere near time to start laying. With a blue/burgundy comb and little bitty wattles, blue'ish ears, I can't go by the usual tell tale signs. That also means I can't tell if she's a she. She has solid grey legs and skin, is as large as my 21 week old BO. They are both big girls. The BO is in her second week of laying. She doesn't talk, make no sounds at all.

Large, as big as my standard Buff Orpington.

Cream, but she wasn't an EE cross.
