Silkie breeding, genetics & showing

So, I have a question....again! lol
I have a little EE chick that hatched today in the incubator. I put the egg in there just couple of days ago when my silkie eggs went in for lockdown. This EE egg was under my broodies, the other eggs hatched 5 days ago. This one I guess waited for an extra 5 days for whatever reason...?

All eggs were set under the hens at the same time. I figured I'd give the egg a few more days after the other eggs had hatched. A few days later, I checked the egg and saw something move so I left it with the hens. Well, couple days ago I checked on the egg again, was planning on throwing it away and go figure, it had piped! lol (Do you spell it piped or pipped??

) The hens didn't look like they were really sitting on the egg because they were busy tending to their chicks, so I put the egg in the bator.

I guess my question is, now that this chick has hatched today. Finally! My other eggs won't be due until tomorrow, maybe Sunday. How long is too long to leave the EE chick in the bator while I wait for the other eggs to hatch? I don't want to open the bator just to take this chick out, wouldn't that effect the hatching of the eggs? I'm hoping these silkies will hatch Saturday, Sunday the latest and then I can just move all of them to the brooder and I shouldn't have a problem, right?

Chicks can go for 3 days without food and water. One day isn't going to hurt it, and it will call to the others to come out and play!

If someone can tell me how to add photos I just took some of my two silkies that are few days over 3 months. Their wings have always looks almost stringy to me. I didn't know you trim them, I have had doubts that one of mine could see anymore. I'd love to know more about them and is it too late to get another two? And have them be friends would they ce to accept one another? Should I go with babies or a little older?
Yes the wings are stringy, but you don't trim the wings, you can trim the crest and muff feathers in front of their eyes if you aren't going to show.
