Thanks =) I forgot to have her send wing pics, but his feet are good I have seen them. If he doesn't have wing problems he would be perfect =) I would snatch him too if I had a house to keep a roo
 
Just wanted to say, thanks for all the great info posted on this thread! I really like the part about the kitty litter/sand idea for the coops. We are moving soon and going to be building a new breeder coop so any inovative and time saving ideas are really handy at this point!
 
My friend is trying to sell this cockerel I gave to her as a baby. He is around 5 months old now. I think he is gorgeous and would make a great show/breeding bird, but what do you all think? I placed an ad for him starting at $50 or BRO. He came from show quality paint stock, but he is all black.






Agh....he's pretty. I wish he was out of a BBS pen! I'd take him.

I just went out and got some natural clay kitty litter. I would think it wouldn't cause a problem with them because DE is clay and they eat that so I don't see a difference. But get non-clumping non-scented plain clay litter.
