I'd recommend going to the Where Am I? Where Are You? section of the forum, find your states thread and see if there are any breeders located near you.

That's an amazing pigeon, very pretty!

Did anyone go to the Avaco show? If so how was it? I was so bummed I wasnt able to attend!
I believe the next show in iowa and/surrounding area is the Iowa state fair. Has anyone attended this show? Any input for a first timer? Thank you so much!

I had friends attend and saw a few pics. I think the only other one within driving distance for a while would be the Coulee Region Poultry Club show in Galesville WI on June 4th. Its in the west central part of WI and at the Trempealeau County Fairgrounds.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate all your input! Ive been dying too hear!
I'm determined to get to a show this year even if it is only as a guest

I just had to pop in and say, I just LOVE having a silkie chick in the brooder! I find it so adorable how the other chicks (and poults in my case) just can't resist their soft, fluffiness and are always tying to cuddle under them :) right now I have a 6 week old silkie chick in my indoor brooder for the new babies. One little poult in particular keeps following it around and trying to cuddle up lol.
