I have some 5 week old silkies I hatched from bought eggs. I'm not totally sure the genetics of the parents. Can anyone tell me what color this one is?

The light colored parts are definitely not shaft casings (I double checked today). This chick's egg came from a pen that had a partridge hen, I'm pretty sure. Partridge then? I'm thinking the ground color is not gold with how light the markings are. I've only had blue, black, and splash chicks before so I'm not experienced with partridge. The seller said chicks hatch out mostly black, some blue, occasional partridge (usually blue partridge), and rarely white.

Blue partridge then is what I'd say

As long as its definitely color and not dirt most likely then you have a partridge/black mix. Youll likely get more partridge or loose the partridge through molts

I looked back through the pictures I have of them at a few days old, and I didn't get very useful pictures. Chickadee appears to have been pretty dark, but might have still had striping as well. Only one chick had very visible markings, but that chick is currently blue.

Chickadee is showing more light feathering day by day. I sure hope it sticks. Two others have some light feathering around the back of the neck, but nothing noticeable in other spots. I hope they keep the color, honestly. It's hard telling 8 dark chickens apart.
