Silkie Chicks..?

I have a question about them. Pretty soon, my silkies are going to be old enough to lay and all that. I really want to breed them! But I have a variety of colors. White, black, blue, buff, grey,and partridge.

And I'm worried, if two different colors breed together will I get like...a mutt chick? Will it have a weird mix of color?

Like, for say, if my black silkie bred with my buff silkie, would I end up with something weird, or will the chick be unaffected and just end up with one color or the other?
I was hoping to sell chicks, but I don't want to sell people a weird chick that isn't a pure color, and will therefore breed even weirder babies when it's old enough to have eggs.

what color is your rooster
i wouldnt worry about it the chick will either get one or the other or a mix it wont affect them

Right now I only have one rooster, which is the buff. The rest are girls.
I'm just afraid if I go to sell them, people won't want them because they aren't from "pure" lines, they have two different colored parents.
Or maybe it won't matter...I'm not sure.

Hi Where are you from, I have 3 white silkie hens, about 9 months old. and I would like to have a few more, either a blue or a black or a mix color! I think that would be really neat! It is hard to find silkies in Victoria BC,

i wouldnt worry about it i have mixed silkies and some end up one color or mixed the mix are gorgeous

If a silkie breeds with a silkie you end up with a pure silkie. Do you know what color the rooster and hens were that your chickens came from?

Sweetlilbaby, do you mean the colors of the parents of my chickens? If that's what you mean, they are all purebreed. As in, my buff came from buff parents, my black silkie came from black parents, and so on. There were never any mixes with colors.
My chickens I have right now have never had chicks of their own yet. That's why I'm asking about colors.
