Silkie crossed Americaunas??

Some will have silkies feathers. Some will look like a normal EE, but it'll have fluffy legs, and a head poof, but the probabilities are endless.

@Pampered chicken girl hatched out some.

The silkie gene is recessive. The father is a silkie and the mother an EE. Meaning, the offspring will be heterozygous for the silkie gene. Meaning, the chicks will have normal feathering but carry the silkie gene

I have a bunch of silkie/EE crosses but never have had any come out silkied, it's a work in progress. Here's some of mine, first and second one us half and half and the 2nd and last 2 are ¾silkie ¼EE, last 2 are brother and sister. I have more but no good pics
