Can anyone confirm gender on these Silkies???

Athena is supposed to be a girl. Early May hatch.

The one on the left (Briar) I know is a pullet she's 10 months old. Ares is beside her on the right for size comparison. He's (I'm hoping a he) late May hatch.

Best front view I could get of Ares...was being a brat.

Dragon (okay I didn't name him, my 2 yr old!) on the left and Gwen on the right. They are actually standing side by side, Dragon is a tiny little thing. HD June 28th

Dragon side view. Boy or girl??

Any guesses.

Uh, they're pretty colors. That's the extent of my Silkie knowledge. I still have no clue how anyone EVER sexes a Silkie till it has a decent sized comb and it's obvious. I know, spikey vs poufy hairdo. Still can't see it. Sorry, Angie, I haven't a clue. Every time I play the Silkie sexing game to myself(I'd NEVER post it!), I'm always wrong, LOL.

Thanks bantymum...I really hope you're wrong about Ares though.

Athena is a girl. Dragon is more than likely male. Ares' side view wasn't good enough to tell but could be female.

Sure look like girls to me... but you know thoes silkies. I'm still struggling to figure out if two of my three silkies from spring are girls are boys... I know one is a boy, I caught him crowing! Somthing tells me the other two are also boys... which means they better show themselves quick because i'd hate to send a silkie girl to the way of the rooster.

I'll say Ares is a boy, but of course, you can take that to the bank that I'm 100% wrong! Well, maybe not. I do see wattles developing pretty well. I'm just not a Silkie person. I need to shutup and leave this to the real Silkie experts.
