Well, i'm sorry to report
that last night at about 3:30 in the morning Scottie lost her fight.
I am a little shocked because i actually thought she might beat this. i did notice in the evening she seemed to have her mouth open alot like she
was panting but not breathing heavy. she had access to her vitamin water and food so she wasn't thirsty.
i'm thinking now that it might have been a sign of pain??
it's so hard to read those little buggers sometimes..
anyway, thankyou all for your suggestions and help and your caring
that's why i love this site

Poor baby.... It might have been her heart. My banty cochin hen died yesterday and that sounds a lot like her. She didn't walk or stand, and she had trouble sitting upright. She had her beak open alot the night before she died. Sounds like the same thing. So sorry for you!
