Silkie Leghorn Mix? Boy or Girl?

I'd only call it a miracle if you can replicate it under closed conditions. I'm still thinking there had to be something else going on, those just aren't recessive traits.

How long had you owned the birds prior to setting the eggs? Just wondering if you had recently acquired them, there may have been some residual sperm from a silkie rooster at their previous home.

I have a second batch that are 3 weeks old from the same rooster and hens. Same thing, some chicks look just like leghorns, and then some have extra toes and one has all black skin with the poofy head.
