I drown the bugs in vinegar to give them a sour taste, which chickens love. I did it last year, and they went crazy for them.

Here's a Silkie roo we had to get rid of because he became sour, & beat up my SnuggleBug, then started beating up on my Mille Fleur D'Uccle roo.

This is Sniffles. He became Silkie chicken soup. I wanted to keep him, but couldn't due to his behavior.

This is the damage he caused to my SnuggleBug.

He was covered in blood, covered in wounds, & he was plucked nude in some places. I had to bathe him to examine his injuries. He took 3 weeks to heal up.
