Silkie Lovers, Show Off Your Fuzzy Chickens Here?!

Pics
Bad news, nobody wanted our roosters, but did come home with two Guineafowl, & two Partridge Old English Game pullets.

Aw poor guys, it was always worth a try anyways!

I love guineafowl! We used to have a static caravan a while back and on the site there was a flock of 8. My favourite was Bourbon (second favourite custard cremé) and I always used to go out and see them. Eventually we sold our caravan and then re visited the site 2 years later only to be told Bourbon was ran over and custard cremé was taken by a fox. Poor babies :hit

Are your new chickens doing alright?

I love silkies. Everyones silkie's are so cute! Here are pictures of my 3. The showgirl silkie is a hen just over a year old. This year we added 2 more. The blue and paint are about 17weeks old.

Yeah, they're doing just fine. I'm rethinking my OEGBs maybe Red JungleFowl.

They are very wild, & larger then my OEGB rooster.
Here are the guineas.

They're all so pretty!

I've never had red jungle Fowl before though, or OEGB's so I wouldn't be able to tell.

I have had modern game Bantams which were just super scrawny looking. They couldn't be let out with any of our other chickens though so we ended up selling them.

Here's one of them, the only photo I got:

She's pretty.

What breed/cross breed is the chick? Is the second one you are waiting to hatch the same?

The red jungle Fowl are lovely! They are so interested in you but they are still not wanting to be touched. Are they easy to tame or more difficult?
