Silkie Lovers, Show Off Your Fuzzy Chickens Here?!

The only way rose comb birds can produce a single comb offspring is if both parents carry a gene for the single comb and an offspring gets that single comb gene from both parents.
If a breed is supposed to have a rose comb or in silkies the walnut comb they should NOT have genes for the single comb.
If your silkies are producing single comb offspring then they're carrying genes they shouldnt be and that in turn makes them an inferior line or a crossed line.
Any decent line would not have single comb genes let alone in both sexes and would never produce single comb birds.
I'm not arguing. This thread isn't meant for this thing anyways.

What do you mean "isn't meant for this thing anyways"?
It isn't meant for talking about the correct genetics of silkies combs?
Not sure why it wouldn't be?

Her two faves, lavender and taco.

I was just trying to explain something to somebody. You continued it. This subject was done until you dropped in. Plus I thought you weren't into silkies? ;)
I was just continuing it with the correct information.
Strange how you can post incorrect genetic info and its fine but when I post the correct info then all of a sudden its not a genetics thread.
Also strange you think posting about silkie combs is off topic when you're posting in a silkie thread about your (not) RJF.
You sure like giving me a hard time.
BTW I raised and showed silkies for years when I was younger. And I usually take a peak @Fur-N-Fowl when they post about them.
