I am wondering— are these chicks just considered a barnyard mix being a free range (free breeding) chicken? They wouldn’t be considered a satin Silkie?
Any info or thoughts appreciated. First time hatching something other than Silkies

They'd be mixes.

A true Satin(Satin Silkie), is smooth feathered, but has all the other traits of a Silkie, like 5 toes, feathered legs, black skin, blue earlobes, a crest, & walnut comb.

Barnyard or backyard bantam cross is accurate.

As to the question.. who the daddy.. the (first) chick in question looks possibly heavily silver laced in it's ancestry.. but what color was the Silkie dame and the 2 sire's in question?

Feather pattern/color *can* be predictable.
