Let me know, if you own Silkies, what you think of them and your experiences with them. Are they hard to keep clean? They must be a little harder to care for than hard-feather breeds because of all that fluffiness, especially the white ones, but giving one a bath looks pretty fun!

Are they good broodies/mothers? Do they often go broody? Are they good egg layers? Etc.....

we have some cuz the youngest said we needed them....sorry we don't have a dozen yet...I think 7...several eggs in the bator
