Silkie Rooster

I have a mixed flock. I only have one Silkie who is a 23 week old Rooster. My other 3 are normal sized hens who are also 23 weeks old and should be laying soon. How do I make sure the Rooster is not eating to much layer feed and getting enough protein??

I use all flock pellets with a small amount of layer pellets mixed in.

You can just feed all flock/flock raiser/grower with separate oyster shells for all of them. I do that and I only have hens.

x2! Oyster shells or/and egg shells provided (Using Eggshells as a Calcium Source) on the side of All Flock work very nicely.
