Awww....I love his silly face!!!! I suppose it's not the best face to pass on down to his offspring, but wow, I think he's adorable!!! ❤❤❤

The SLWs are working hard at picking all the Feather Fixer pellets out of the Flock raiser crumbles still, so much for a nice slow transition from one feed to another. Plans, never seem to work out

Skeet had just done a full body shale and I caught her before she laid all her fluff back down so she looks extra poofy

JetPack is still one of my favorites, he's like Nu, they have a little extra something special.

I had just a few minutes with the silkies this evening when I fed and watered them. They all ran to greet me at the door and I picked up Svanhild and she immediately just hunkered down and got all comfy. Then I couldn't get her off my hand

And Sylvi, look at her absolute beautifullness! I'm not a good judge of silkies yet, but I think she's perfect! She's so soft feathered, she feels like touching chick down still. I need more like her

Silvi is one gorgeous bird!! She does look soft!! I don't know much about Silkies but she appears to have nice conformation, nice feathering and I love her color! Very pretty!! ❤ ❤

They're so friendly, my hatchery silkies are pretty wild, but these little ones are some heart melters

I got too busy last night and didn't get the eggs gathered, came home to this



And when I tried to get the eggs, I got this


One day, I didn't get eggs ONE DAY, and Cappy Llama, the not so lady like pullet, goes broody. she had 10 eggs plus the 2 fake eggs all tucked happily under her.

I was thinking that I'm glad I don't have any fertile eggs, and my hubby starts asking if we should breed the white silkies since she's broody. I could cross Base and Nu... no, no it's too late in the year and I don't have the coop space
