silkie sexing

Sure...here you go. Thanks for the feedback. Is it a normal thing for these guys to not have any color in their comb? He looks different than the 2 smaller ones we have so I was guessing he is a roo. Bummer...he's really pretty

I think a all black comb is normal. In showing it said that comb should be dark mulberry almost black.
I think you have a roo.

this the prob we have, he stands like a roo, has the swept back head fluff, sleeker feathers, but small comb (its the same as the girls but they are fluffy with pom pom heads) he is the boss, but doesnt crow or really act roosterly. He also sat on an egg :p but I havent physically seen him lay one. He is the only one with blue cheeks. He/ she has confused me!
It's a ' bossy ' little pullet.

I posted a few weeks ago but thought I would get updated opinions on this little one. I'm hoping for a pullet as we hatched two silkies since that was my 11 yr old daughters requested chicken and one was an obvious roo. We live within city limits and rehomed the Mr and are hoping for a Mrs with this bearded splash. She/he is 10.5 weeks and has some new feathers coming in as you can see but I don't see obvious roo signs like a big comb (it has almost no comb) and the feathering doesn't seem distinct one way or the other to my untrained eye.
Any opinions?

This is a cockerel, the comb is wide and huge for a female

I think its a pullet. Thats about the size of my 8 month pullets comb. She's bearded so no wattles, but Im pretty sure you have a girl.
