silkie sexing

Pics
I'm now thinking they are both pullets myself, only because I think the comb on a roo would be a little more pronounced by now, but then my first silkie hen turned roo on me (and I got him around that age from someone who raised silkies, go figure)... My rule of thumb look and listen... Look for eggs or listen for crowing :) gl

How'd you get shim to stand so still for photos :) it's hard to tell at 7 Weeks, I'm gonna go with a pullet though. Not much comb going on and no waddles to speak of either, please let us know Howe it goes! Gl [/quote]

It's really hard to tell anytime, but especially before they're fully feathered. I have no guesses on one or three, but do think #2 is looking quite rooish, getting a nice little comb already :) gl
Any guesses on our three 5 week old chicks, or is it too early? Chick #1 Chick #2 Chick #3 I'm suspecting #1 might be a roo? They aren't normally in the sandbox - it was just an easy place to take pictures.

They all look like pullets to me, no pronounced streamers, Combs or waddles. They are all just beautiful too!
Ok I will post mine here, I posted a thread earlier today but have not seen any replies yet! I have three that are 8 weeks old, one white, one paint and one blue. Here they are! Thank you for your help!!!
