Oh good! I just posted a new thread but I'll ask here too...got these from a friend as chicks and I have no idea if they're roosters or hens. About 12 wks old, so not quite 4 months. Any guesses? Any guesses on the polish one would be appreciated too if you can. Pictures included of course! Here's the link to the thread:

I had one with feathers just like that and it just ended up rounding out and she is a pullet. So just keep watching.

I have a question, I have 4 6 week old white silkies. One has bluish iridescent earlobes and the others do not. Could she be a cockerel?


I know I have a picture of it somewhere, but I think it's on the other computer.

hmmm by the look of her head feathers,it does not seem that she is a pure silkie. all silkies are supposed to have turcuoise earlobes and fluffy,puffy feathers. your silkie seems to have different feathers on her head.

I have a buff and a black about 12 weeks old, but I think the buff is a boy. What do you think?
