Silkie Thread! Talk about your Silkies and post pics of your Silkies

I don't know what happened here. My silkies are penned by color. Although it is possible another silkie roo could have had a randevue with her. There where a few days I let the sizzle pen and the partridges out at the same time to roam around. But All y roos are silkies. My few other breeds don't get out of their pens. So here are some pics of a partridge silkie chick. Any ideas as to what it could be that made it turn out like this? I'm thinking genes. I need a different roo is my thinking.

If the 4th and 5th toes weren't partially fused they would be the only thing that resembled a silkie. lol

I'm gonna take a few guesses and say Grey or Splash. I'm no pro on colors. I know the easy ones. White, Black, Blue, partridge, Calico and splash.

It sure is pretty. I was disappointed with my hatch before last. The only ones that are keepers are the whites and i'm hoping one of those will be splash. I still have 2 partridge and 2 black chicks. I know i'll keep the black chicks till they feather out at least. If they're not keepers they'll go in the juvie pen for sale in the spring. I sold s beautiful grey pullet and wish I hadn't now but too late. Maybe i'll bet another or two during the winter.

Ypu said all of your roo's are silkies? Your chick look alot like my mixes. More specifically it looks alot like my brown leghorn and silkie mix chicks. Do you have any other hens that eggs could have gotten mixed up somehow??? By the foot feathering the little one is definitely part silkie.
