Herre are both of my Silkies. Both deceased. Most of you probably know why.

This is dominic my Calico Silkie roo.

This is Bella my Partridge Silkie hen (right).

I don't know why? They were such beautiful birds!!!!!!!!!!!!I am almost to tears!!! I so wish somehow I could have helped you some how. I love birds! I see domincs little eye looking at me the way my silkies do and it hurts me to know he has passed.

I have some of bobbies chickens myself. My best partridge Roo came from them. I don't post many pics of him because I am not sure of what the stupid apa standard for his coloring is but in my eyes he is beautful!! He always wants to be close to me but he doesn't like to be picked up. I have a splash roo that trys to feed me and will not give up till I pick him up and scratch his chest!! Your pic of Dominc reminds me of my Buddy. Those eyes look right through you. When buddy passes I will cry. I love my silkies as much as I love my Airedale Terrier and my Parrot. I love animals but yet I am still a Hunter.

Poultryinmotion not sure which picture you are talking about. Some of my Bobbi babies do have the lavender gene.
