oh i was just more curious if there was a way for me to tell. i don't really care that much, more curious than anything. i have one that keeps going head to head with my roo and so, i'm wondering if 'it's' a 'he.' ya know? not to mention i am curious about when the roo will turn to other hens vs going after the only two i KNOW are hens?? i'm just hoping out of the 7 they aren't ALL roos, LOL!!!

I always thought these were the goofiest looking birds, but now I LOVE them!!

Still goofy looking, especially the bearded ones when they're trying to see something. I have a male who loves to crow and female who likes to peck and 15 chicks, 14 that hatched Friday and one that is 3 wks old tomorrow. You guys have some BEAUTIFUL birds!

I have a silkie with a wing problem. Yesterday I noticed one of its wings hanging by its side. I first assumed injury. Today, upon further inspection, I've found the carpal joint to b swollen. What should I do? Any help appreciated greatly.

I do. I hope someone bids on em again. The highest bidder backed out! The only other 2 bidders already bought more eggs. May have to relist them in a 24 hour auction.
