They are super cute and fuzzy!!!!!!
I agee with Debbi about the alien race thing. It's seems like they're invisible.
Josh, If you have two Blues, they did not come from a "Black Silkie pair". Black x Black = 100% Black! One of the birds of your Black pair must be a Blue!
yeah i figured that out when they hatched.
really pretty show girl! I like seeing pics of your roo, he doesn't have a bad angle.
Very cute chicks!! A lot of Blues can look black. Had me fooled-- I have a hen that is Blue but for a couple of months, I thought she was black. But half of her chicks are Splash... big clue in there. ha! This is my BLUE hen. Now I can tell the difference quite easily! If their undercoat is grey and not black all the way thru, you have a Blue.
Yep. Looks just like my hen. And yes her undercoat is gray.
Jessy-, your Sherbert is sooo gorgeous! And Cinder...very cute!! not all that excited about SG's, with their naked necks and all, but she is Yummy!
Josh-, your babies are so fluffy and sweet!!
So bummed! I was just sitting and watching my Silkie babies and I noticed my only blue chick is developing crossbeak!
I am assuming that it just gets worse with time?
It's my DS favorite, so I am hoping it doesn't get too bad.
I would keep it as a pet if it can eat and drink ok, but not use it for breeding if I ever get to that point.
