I have a newbie question for you silkie gurus.
2 of my silkies began having some serious stare-downs and "fighting" yesterday and it's continued into today. The fighting is not the typical chest bumping I've seen all of them do. It's more like real fighting - legs/feet first into the other bird - but they aren't hurting each other. I've suspected these two are roo's. Is this roo behavior - working out the pecking order? Here are a couple pictures of each that may help. Is the behavior likely to get worse? They are still young - 3 months old.
