When you put pictures on your post you can either upload them from you computer photo program or from a hosting service like Photobucket. On photobucket you can copy a URL for the photo and paste it here for pictures. I dont do it this way so someone else might tell you a different way. I use Iphoto which is a photo program on my computer . Click the "insert Image" icon and can pick from my photos for there or from my desktop to post... hope this helps..And the URL when you try to put pics on the page
Thank you![]()
you can start a new thread by going to "forum" at the top of the page, then choosing which category, then click "start a new thread". To upload pics from your computer, if you are on a computer, click the little picture icon in the bar at the top of your post, and click upload files. If you are on an Ipad, I still have not figured out how to post pictures...And the URL when you try to put pics on the page

Haha, i have one doing that also.. she sits there throwing shavings over her shoulder.. Not ready for her to hatch eggs yet though... Congrats on the "find" cant wait to see what you hatch!!!I'm going to pick up some chicks tomorrow for my very, very broody hen!!![]()
Found an add on Craigslist for blue/splash and black/blue chicks. Apparently they are show quality. Even better!! I don't really care what they are, as long as they're healthy and wannabe-momma-Iris will stop being stubborn and broody. She's been "hatching" shavings for the last 2 weeks.![]()
I'm getting 3 or 4 chicks for her. I didn't plan on hatching anything at this time of the year but obviously my hen has a completely different opinion! lolHaha, i have one doing that also.. she sits there throwing shavings over her shoulder.. Not ready for her to hatch eggs yet though... Congrats on the "find" cant wait to see what you hatch!!!

Not necessarily. Many white chicks are white or silvery, and splash can be pale bluish with a yellowish cast. Splash chicks often have some variation in colouring; white chicks are usually pretty solid coloured.
Too early to sex your cutie!
The last chick to hatch is another Buff! Day 22 and drying off in the bator now. I had three eggs unpipped and did an eggtopsie. Two were quitters at day fourteen. A White and a Black. They were so dark I couldnt see in through the shell when I candled. The one egg that had a full term chick but died in the shell without pipping internally is a heart breaker. It had absorbed all the yolk and was a gorgeous Lavender. It had a HUGE vaulted skull. Final count...Twelve live beautiful Catdance chicks out of thirteen viable embryos at lock down! That is my best Silkie hatch from an incubator EVER!![]()
Number ten and number eleven chick. A lovely Buff and stunning Lavender.
