Silkie thread!

So thinking the 3 mo old silkie I posted a few days ago is most likely a roo, I went out and bought 6 little 4 week old buff silkie chicks and a bonus frizzle black chick. I'm hoping 1 will be a hen.
One I started to call Satan because it pecks your fingers. Well I noticed on it and it only a comb. NOT a walnut comb, tho they all have small bumps on thier beaks, but a normal chicken comb... I know they are silkies as thier starter feathers are like silkies and some are getting tuffs on thier heads. But Satan...is giving me a HMMMMM moment. What do you think.

Not a proper Silkie comb for sure but it happens.. what about toes and leg /foot feather? Black skin? This is the only buff chick I have hatched.. I think about that age..maybe only 3 weeks

Black skin, 6 toes. The others I have look just like yours. Perhaps a bit of evil...they are devil horns. :p

LOL! Well 6 toes and single combs arent good for a Silkie but Im sure he will be fun

I have an 8wk old chick that was almost that bad.. Tried pedialyte in its water and vitamin E.. Helped a bit.. Then I just bought a gallon jug of poultry vitamins. It's pretty much back to normal :) it was sommersaulting and tripping over its self a week ago :/ don't give up :)

Unfortunately he left us today. I gave him everything possible to help :( He quit. RIP George

I can't feel a definite egg anymore so not sure if it was just a bone I thought was or what, we'll know soon enough, but I DID fine that her cloaca was SUTURED SHUT(just opened enough for poop to go through)! SO glad I went in and woke her up to check on her! So I removed the sutures myself fairly easily. I knew he said he sutured her up so she didn't prolapse but he didn't make a suture removal appointment and I thought he was talking about the oviduct. Plus the sutures are the same color as her skin so I couldn't see them.
