Silkie thread!

Hi all, I was wondering if you might help me sex my silkies. They are twelve weeks old so I'm hoping they're old enough to tell. None of them have any wattle development yet, so perhaps I have four pullets. There is one blue I'm iffy on. Any help is appreciated!

And just for fun, my little favorite looking for good stuff to eat:

And this really cracked me up. My silkies just went out, and here's my blue marans pullet trying to figure out what the heck they are:

Guessing here, blue 1 a girl, black a boy, can't tell on blue 2, the splash looks like a girl. Beautiful birds!

I live in a small town (less than 600 population and the town is only a square mile in size), so I carry them with me when I go places, like the store or to the restaurant and I sit outside with them for a bit and let them explore and meet people (they love people). They are on leashes, not tethered.

Lol!!! I love that!!!

Thank you! I'm gonna try to get some better pictures tomorrow. The little splash (whom I need to name) was the only one cooperating. The rest just plopped down and started dust bathing in a big pile. Silly birds

All the baby silky & standard chicks went out to Free Range this afternoon. They LOVED it! Didn't want to go back into the Coup This is their 3rd night in the Silky Coup w/my Black hen Lilly. Lilly was acting like she wanted to go broody so I gave a few of the chicks to her to see what she'd do. Couple hours later gave her more and so on until she had all 13. She didn't act like a loving MOMMA, but she didn't reject them either. I kept a close watch on her to see how things were going. Kept the chicks nice & warm Fri night & Sat night. Today when I put them all out in the grass, her Momma proctective instincts kicked in. She wouldn't let ANYONE get close to the chicks w/out attacking them (except for the other 2 Silky hens). Again tonight all 13 are staying warm under Lilly.

All 13 (I think)

Splash. Then you can get blue. but that isall you can breed "her" to to get recognized colors. Is she a sizzle? or a frizzled cochin?
oh I have NO IDEA!! I don't know much about these or even the difference between a frizzle, frazzle etc. Haha! I got her for free and she was too cute to pass up. And sooooo soft and sweet like my silkies!! Yay!

Correct me of I'm wrong, but frizzles are birds crossed with one frizzle parent to a normal parent. A frazzle is a bird crossed with a frizzle and another frizzle. Frazzle feathers are really brittle to my understandings.
