That's what I expected I have gotten gray chicks before from breeding black to white. These guys hatched out buff looking and are feathering in almost a lavender color.

Gotta love a good mystery color lol

thanks shuga for jumping in and helping me with this.. Hoping truly it actually is broodiness and not sickness.. I picked her up and moved her into the pen with the other chickens.. hopefully she will get some food now and water

I got a weird color mixing white and partridge...so far I have gotten about 6 of them...they are all white with partridge markings...I think I am going to start a project...my wheels are spinning!!!
