It's the dark or black in a buff's wings and/or tail. A little is ok, as long the type is good. I don't like to see a whole lot of it. Try to post some pics later of what mine are looking like

Many of my silkies prefer to be up a bit from the ground when sleeping. But most prefer a shelf to a roost (although some will roost on a 2x2).

Do you still have that little white rooster from crushn tush silkies. I have one white hen from her a good while back. She was the smallest of three she got together.
