Silkie thread!

Donton, I am in El Paso & was in the same boat, not wanting to order a whole bunch or pay crazy shipping. I actually found some at Tractor Supply, so maybe check there? You can probably ask them what they will be getting in. If you happen to find a knowledgeable salesperson, that is. When I got my Silkie, the sales guy was trying to tell me it was a Buff Orpington.

For ordering chicks every year it baffles my mind that these feed store employees can't even tell you what breed a chicken or a canary is!!!???

Paralysis in the legs sounds more serious than a worm burden. Depending on where you are , there are several worming options. Safeguard for goats is what I use as unlike Wazine it is effective against most worms that afflict chickens.

Do u give it in water r to the chicken by mouth

You can give it drop by drop in a syringe (no needle ) or put it on a couple of pieces of bread. Unfortunately it doesn't mix very well in water and there is no way of knowing if they have drank enough. Alternatively you could make up a small feed of soft scrambled egg and mix it in.
I give directly into the beak, but be careful as it is all too easy to aspirate a chicken.
