How common are cuckoo silkies? I semi-recently acquired one. It's so interesting looking! As for it's personality, it could use a little work. Very nervous and unfriendly. Here's an older picture of her, but she's grown so much in the last few weeks. At first I thought the cuckoo wouldn't come out, but it's gotten much more noticeable recently.

This is my cuckoo, I need to grab a better picture. He looks almost all white but he is barred looking. Wings look very nice

Is it just me, or does it seem like silkies have the most color variation than any other chicken?

I got my first silkie awile ago, like 4 weeks ago. Anyways. I think she is a blue or a black. Right now she is super ugly but super soft. Are there any sugestions on training them for showmanship? I'm hoping to use her as my 4/h bird

Male or female? It's 3-4 months old (it was born on Lunar New Year) and is pretty docile

I would say male, because of the comb.

It was originally named Luna. That will need to be changed.

x2 on male, but you never know with silkies :I. As for the colors, I'm not very good at that, so someone more experienced can answer
