Silkie thread!

hello all, i just got my first Silkie chicks last week. i have a problem with my blue silkie Bear. Bear is 9 days old and tonite i found her on her side being trampled by the filler roosters that were shipped with my order. she is wobbly and shaking her head once every so often she opens her mouth and streaches her neck. can anyone tell if there is a chance to save her or what might be going on? this is my Bear please help me keep her. thanks for any ideas jo
At 9 days of age its best to keep them away from the older birds, except momma. Warmth is the first thing that is imperative to sick or injured birds. Are they in a brooder ?

yes they are in brooder and have heat lamp have only been with the same shipped birds. never older ones.

I use sav-a-chick electrolytes and vitamins. Have you given them anything like that or maybe sugar water? I've never had chicks shipped but the trip can be hard on them.

Is she eating and drinking ok? Is her vent ok? My first thoughts would be dehydration or some type of infection. But I'm no expert. Is she much smaller than the others?

still eating and drinking not sure how much she is not smaller than the other bantams she is about middle as far as size goes. I recently lost my 3 yr old silkie to a respiratory thing i think this seems diff but it is chick not roo sooo not sure.

edit to add
vent clean and solid little poops

Have you tried searching all the threads for her symptoms? or maybe post in the emergencies/diseases section. There are some good people that know about signs of certain problems.

Well maybe some of the experienced silkie owners will chime in. I only have two young ones so I'm new to the breed. Your issue doesn't sound specific to silkies, but anything is possible.
Oh, have you checked her over for maybe mites? That could also cause the little head shakes.
