Thank you...the same as I thought...I am going by wattle size....the bearded had little wattle as well.
 
New with Silkie Chickens and am embarassed to ask. What is a wattle? I have seen it in
many posts and never asked. Thanks Regards, Aria

When you do projects, you get all sorts of oddities. I hatched two of these boys and kept them, although I am willing to sell one if anyone is interested in working on the colour pattern. Plans would be to remove one copy of blue, increase neck striping and even out the body colouring (it's somewhat patchy).

Do you have pics of the two boys you kept? I am pretty sure mine is a girl.

Well here is almost all of my flock! I just have blue, black, and splash. Pretty much all of the blacks are looking a mess because I have been breeding them. They go broody so often! The splash are about 5 months old if I remember correctly.

Your splashes are beautiful and your black girls look better than my girls they are all bald for silkies and my splash hens well no one would believe they are silkies right now and they are starting to molt....very nice flock.
