Silkie thread!

He has been looking better! No runny nose, nothing wrong with his eyes, but he is a tad aggressive to the chicks, I believe that's normal though. I reckon they barely eat when they get sick because he was eating half the day yesterday.

Glad he's getting better. I hope he doesn't make those chicks sick. How old are the chicks he shouldn't be aggressive to little chicks.

These are some of the ones I've hatched. I love silkies. There are so sweet and they are the only ones that don't mess up their food and water. And of course the cutest chicks ever. The one on the end was splay legged but I taped his legs. He's much better but not quite what he should be. I had one of my buffs had a slipped knee that I couldn't fix. It was like that for a week. But she got along fine. Now I can't tell which she was because none of them have a bad leg. I thought somehow I just kept missing it but they are all walking fine now.
DO the dark ones look like they might be partridges?

They are about a month and a half. They are setting the pecking order I reckon. It's just when they go to eat they get right up under him while he's eating.

Oh yes that's only a relatively low dose. You could grind them in mortar and pestle and sprinkle on her feed. Have you got the topical cream available ? If so I would apply that .

I dont' have a topical cream. could I just get her to take a whole one? or is that too much? when I've given the pellets before to my cat, (not arnica, it was something else, i can't remember), I dissolved it in water and gave it that way. could I do that as well? and if so, how much and how often?

I wouldn't give it whole. Can you crush it and give 1/4 dissolved in water , draw up into a syringe( no needle ) and drip it in to her beak. Or sprinkle on to some scrambled egg.
