I will be showing my 4 month old silkie in February. She can't see very well and I really want to trim her feathers, will they grow back by the time I show her????

Pluck, don't trim. They should be grown back in by then. If you trim the feathers won't grow back until she molts, which could take forever! I took tweezers and plucked the muffs of my hen, that is what really blocks their vision.I will be showing my 4 month old silkie in February. Could be. I would add vitamins to their water, and make sure it isn't being picked upon by the others.Every now and again, my week and a half old chick does this weird twisty thing with his head, kind of like a bobble head toy. is that the beginning of wry neck or something?
