Silkie thread!

My bantams & Silkies were having trouble getting into their elevated coops. So my sweety made them some new steps today. Its sooooo cute!!!

Yes, that's a bit high for Silkies as they don't fly well. lol
The steps look great. Are your birds doing ok going up the steps??

You should see them today. I had 13 silver laced Wyandotte hatch overnight. e

Yes. We had a ramp, like we've used for our other chickens, but the Silkies didn't really use it well, so we changed it today. We usually have to go out every night and put up the 2 Silkies and the Cochin rooster. Tonight, EVERYONE was inside roosting already! Yay!! Lol I've only had them about 3 weeks, so its still a learning experience. Thank goodness for BYC!

I learned SO much here on BYC when I first got my chickens! Especially in this thread. Great place for learning about Silkies, and chickens in general.

you have so many silkies and they 're all soo beautiful, i ony have 3 at the moment!!
