That's a thing?Has anyone on here been able to get silkies that lay green eggs?
Not a breed. I'm asking if someone has ever been able to breed correctly to get a silkie looking bird that lays colored eggs. There are such things as bantam EEs I've heard. I believe either Meyer or Mcmurray sells them

I have a blue Silkie whom I have posted pics on byc asking about gender, everyone says pullet. But tonight I noticed the feathers looking a little iridescent . Blue green tints to it. That's exactly how my SLW Roos feathers shine. Is that a indication my silkies a Roo ??
Thank youNo, it's quite common for black pulleys to have a green sheen in the osprey ( wing tips ) feathers and sometimes even in the tail.
