Is it Eprinex? That's the only Ivomec formula I know of with a no, supposed, withdrawl time. I use 3 drops on my large fowl hens/pullets, and 4 on my roos/big cockerels. Twice a year. Every month seems like a tad too much to me. I would hate to see what that dosage is doing to their livers. I've used Ivomec for years on sheep, goats, pigs, and cattle, and it is some pretty potent stuff. I am still very leery of the "no withdrawl" clause on the Eprinex, and for safety's sake, hold all eating eggs for 2 weeks still. JMHO

I like all your silkies. Are they from show birds? Don't look like you live very far from me, Maybe 30 miles at the most.

I haven't shown my birds yet, I am planning to get out there this fall. I missed out last season because they weren't old enough. However, one of them came from a show winner. I am in Apopka, where are you?

I wanted to share a link for silkie lovers. If you haven't already heard of this book you may want to check it out. It has wonderful history as well as unending information about silkies. It covers American as well as European lines. It isn't cheap but you can certainly get your money's worth. There are a few copies already here in the U.S. so if you are interested contact me and it can be shipped ASP.

I have this book. Its excellent for understanding where some of the colors and traits come from. Even those breeding Silkies for many years can learn something from this book.
